How often do we hit that barrier that stops us from moving forward in our lives. We convince ourselves it's normal to feel stuck - it’s just the way life is. What’s more being honest with ourselves and opening up is never easy, especially to another person. That’s why the first step in a personal life-coaching session on The Serious Sofa is simply to sit down, relax and get seriously comfortable. Only then can you think from your heart – with purpose and clarity. Together we can explore what’s blocking the change you’re looking for, and start taking the steps you need to rethink who you are and where you want to be. And we will work together using my unique coaching method. Throughout our session together, I will doodle your notes. Why? Because images can evoke stronger emotional connections than words alone ever can. The powerful new memories that images spark are particularly helpful when working with emotions that are abstract or deeply hidden. Over the weeks on The Serious Sofa, you will create your own personal ‘Doodle Diary’ — a visual record of thoughts and feelings that come up during our sessions together. This dynamic resource can be used for reflection between sessions and will serve as a basis for further growth after our time on The Serious Sofa is complete.
